"Eager to explore her world visually," Holly Kay Peters began drawing both imaginative and realistic imagery at a very early age. Born in Definance, Ohio (1956) Holly was positively encouraged by both family members and teachers to pursue her career as an artist. Holly's heightened visual sensibility has lead her to explore a wide range of artistic venues. Areas of focus have included both 2D and 3D fine art production, graphics and technical illustration, as well as home renovation and interior design. In 1993, Holly made her formal return to the fine arts field as she finished her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. She then went on to complete a Masters of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach with an emphasis on printmaking and painting (graduated 1996). Holly recently completed the Masters degree program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University - Irvine, California (2005). Holly Kay Peters divides her work time between making art and working as personal coach for others desiring to enhance their creative process. She has home studios in both California and Ohio. Holly's business office is located in San Clemente, California. |
